Olaf Tomscheit

Olaf Tomscheit is responsible for the entire FIBO Empire – FIBO, FIBO POWER, European Fitness Summit and FIBO FINDER. It was him who came up with the idea to entitle the weight training and bodybuilding area “FIBO POWER” when the search for an appropriate label became just about hopeless. Liking the title better every day until it was finally decided to make it official.
Being the chairman of the DIFG (German Industrial Association for Fitness and Health), Olaf Tomscheit is rather inclined towards the FIBO, the more health orientated part.
But every decision about future trends in FIBO POWER is supported and (most of the time) approved of by him.

Between Us: During our FIBO / FIBO POWER party (after surviving the exhibition), he reveals himself to be a real party king – Karaoke here we come!

Jens Thieme

“El Presidente” of FIBO POWER! Supporting the bodybuilding and weight training area of FIBO with all he’s got, he fights hard to implement his ideas and beliefs. Most of the time, he leaves the battlefield with a victory smile on his face. Jens Thieme is the person to contact if the there are any questions concerning the FIBO POWER – stand space, show program, competitions, sponsoring or the website, he knows it all. From now on, he will dedicate himself exclusively to the FIBO POWER. In the office, he is the only rooster in yard since he spends most of his time in the office with 3 women – whom he does have in control pretty good most of the time. If he has managed to escape from the office, he is touring all around the world in mission of the FIBO POWER. But as a Blackberry junkie he is almost always available for everyone.

Position with Reed Exhibitions Germany: Project Manager

Between Us: His ideas sometime take on bizarre forms – Just as an example: He thought it was a “smart” idea to transport a full glass of water in his jeans pockets during a cab ride because he decided the water in the hotel was way too expensive (it has been murmured that he spent a bit too much time in the Irish Pub the night before).

Caroline Selders

Our organisation- fairy! Visitor flyers, FIBO-website, interal project planning, visitor-agent-coordination, budgeting – and this is just a small part of her area of expertise. She has the absolute insight and power over FIBO / FIBO POWER. On top of that, she is the embodied “Outlook Reminder” for the males in the team when they forgot their deadlines (once again). She also organizes the entire ticketing in advance of the FIBO and on-site all staff listens to her. Her secret love is the FIBO POWER which is why she is always present during our exhibition and championship presentations.

Between Us: The teams likes to call her „Call Center Caro“ every now and then because she is honestly the most understanding person on the phone there is.

Kim Droege

Many know him already, but now Kim Droege is finally employed in the FIBO (POWER) team. Kim Droege worked three years for FIBO and FIBO POWER as a student assistant (or helper from El Presidente) and knows the entire scope of duties. "life´s not easy at the bottom" that is what he needs to learn every day, a good exercise to confront with the problems of this world. As a strength athlete, he also knows the industry very well and is now looking forward to take over the sale and support of the exhibitors of FIBO and FIBO POWER.

Position at Reed Exhibitions: Sales Executive

Between us: As a constant protein-consumer, of course he has some stock funds at home. Too bad that he seems not so technically talented, in his new apartment the entire kitchen rack including his stock funds came down one night. Life´s not easy at the bottom...
